What are Monthly Maintenance Sessions?
Monthly free, virtual accountability space to support you in prioritizing your maintenance practice.
Think of these sessions as a casual collective study hall, where we set aside time together to dedicate to the often over-looked maintenance required to sustain in our individual, work, and community lives. together we set aside dedicated time to maintain.
How it Works:
- Register here to get the Zoom details and a calendar invite.
- Join us on Zoom at 11:00 AM ET on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Not sure what time that is for you? Check out world-time-buddy.
- We’ll begin with a brief optional introduction (name / pronouns/ where you’re calling in from / what you intend to maintain).
- Mute & Focus: Then, we’ll all mute our microphones and get to maintaining!
- Wrap Up: At the end of the session, we’ll regroup for to share reflections.
What to Expect:
- Choose your focus: Each session is self-guided. Choose what you want to maintain — be it work tasks, personal upkeep, community care or anything else that would better functioned if maintained.
- Gentle accountability: You’ll have the opportunity to share what you’ll be working on at the top of the session, and then we’ll all get to maintaining, implementing the power of “body doubling“.
- Build a maintenance practice: At the end of the session we’ll come back together for a short reflection and wrap-up. Building a “maintenance muscle” is a practice, and over time, we hope you cultivate a sensibility toward maintenance.
Why Join?

For Organizations:
Organizations and teams are warmly encouraged to join! Use this time for collective maintenance like: tidying up a database, closing open loops, updating documentation, or simply making space to reflect on internal systems.
